Tenuta Bronzino is situated in Contrada San Donato in the area of Grottole, on the hills of the province of Matera, just a few kilometres from the city of the famous Sassi, the European Capital of Culture for the year 2019.
The building dates back to 1699 and was first a patrician villa for the feudatories of the day, then it hosted the ancient Monastery of San Donato until the beginning of the 20th century, when the Bronzino family settled down in the manor house of the farm of the same name, which produces high-quality and certified organic cereals and pulses.
Today Tenuta Bronzino hosts a modern farm house and two halls for events. It is also an educational farm for primary, middle and high school students.
